His knack of building an immediate rapport with people of all ages was a very attractive trait of Suman maamaa.

Sulu mami had just passed away in April, and Urvi’s wedding was scheduled for July, and Suman mama immediately came to help us, without the slightest of hesitation, or sense of importance as an elder in the family.

I was in an ashram till end of secondary school, and thus had no opportunities for any entertainment activities. After finishing my SSC, he would take me with him to Metro Theatre to see movies. “Jhanak Jhanak paayal Baje” was my favourite movie from that period.

Another great attribute of his personality was his ability to go through a difficult period smoothly, and without regrets.
